Without doubt a top burger, with a slight exotic influence. All the ingredients at Bobo Social are the finest quality. Wagyu beef, topped with Ogleshield cheese, confit shiitake mushrooms, bacon mayo, truffle and onion compôte and shaved truffles – The Debauchery Burger.
The Debauchery burger is not to be missed. The expertly prepared wagyu meat patty encased in a buttermilk bun is topped with shaved truffle and Ogleshield cheese and it’s a knockout. Every bit as delicious as it sounds and excellent when paired with the sweet potato chips and apple slaw. From the smaller plates, be sure to try the fillet steak strips with avocado, chive and chipotle salsa and for dessert, the chocolate mousse with salted caramel is a sure-fire winner. When it comes to cocktails, I would recommend the Bobo, with its refreshing blend of Bombay Sapphire gin, champagne, elderflower cordial, mint and lavender leaves.
The staff are most affable and will make you feel right at home. The are a selection of burgers at Bobo Social such as Peanut Butter Burgers to Wagu beef. There is also an option to add Chocolate Bacon, do it. If you haven’t quite had enough after the small plates and burgers the puddings are delicious. If you need some extra’s the menu also has a selection of tapas style plates which are delicious, the chicken and chorizo pate is a must have.
Look out for Bobo Social’s weekly changing ‘Guest Burger’, which is part of the venue’s Experiment Burger Society where, once a week, up to 20 people will work with the chef to create a new burger – using more exotic meats such as venison, kangaroo and ostrich alongside the usual beef.
