Brilliant Interior, very welcoming, great vibe.
Chop Shop is a predominantly meat-focused affair, serving steaks, roasts and a weekly burger special. It’s nestled at the heart of the West End and has a very butcher-shop inspired theme with high ceilings, some quirky decoration with one wall embedded with butchers knives and cleavers.
Onto the meat! The Patty Melt, not delivered in a bun but caraway bread with cut-off crusts making it almost feel like a cheese toastie just landed in front you. It was nice to have something a little different. The beef which is 35-day aged black Angus sourced from butcher Lake District Farmers and it was delightfully cooked, seared nicely with a pink and soft middle nestled between the two buttered slices of caraway bread and topped with a mild english cheddar merged amongst moist caramelised squishy onions. Delightful, and moreish.
Make sure you complete your experience with the mouth watering pulled pork sausage roll on offer, and amazing set of cocktails especially the rum mojito!
