The cutlery is amazing.
Flat Iron is a small restaurant with limited item menus…but don’t let that fool you. Lovely atmosphere, the cutlery your provided is awesome and really adds to the experience when your given a mini meat cleaver to cut up your steak, or burger. The steak comes out on a quaint little tray, we sampled the USDA Bavette and it was fantastic, the staff are super friendly and gave us some insight into how Flat Iron began whilst being given complimentary popcorn whilst we got comfortable.
The burger option is simple, no lettuce or other garnishes just a smothering of béarnaise sauce, but were still not sold on it being a great ingredient on a burger. The buns are from St. John Bakery which is a good sign but they perhaps need to increase the size of the patty. The bun has a crisp crust to its exterior as from being toasted and the patty was super beefy and tastey although it was a tiny bit dry, probably a one off. Overall though, it is a good burger.
Loved the whole experience, highly recommended if you’re in the area, no reservations.
